Everybody has an impact on the World's Oceans, whether it be living on or near the ocean, visiting a beach or having a Seafood platter at your favourite restaurant. World Oceans Day is a day to recognise the impact of human actions on a fragile eco-system that must be protected. Our oceans cover over 70% of the planet and equate to around 80% of the worlds biodiversity, from marine life to coral reefs. Our ocean habitats are at risk and they must all be protected for our future generations to enjoy.
There are plenty of things that you can do to reduce your impact on the worlds oceans;
- use recyclable cups
- reduce your use of plastics
- keep our beaches clean
- avoid things that harm marine life
- educate friends and family on the human impact on the oceans
- buy a teevolution tee
Here at Teevolution we recognise that our operations have an impact on the environment around us and we are committed to reducing the impact that we have. We only print garments once they have been ordered by a customer which means that there is as little waste as possible. All our prints use a 100% non toxic water-based inks that are OKEO certified and CPSIA compliant so as not to produce harmful waste that can be seen within the fashion industry. We are also aiming to reduce, recycle and re-use as much as we can working towards a carbon neutral future.
