End of restrictions
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected all of our lives in many ways. Lets go back to March 2020 when the UK entered a full lockdown, Shops, businesses, schools all closed and everyone was told to stay at home, unless of course you were a keyworker in which case you were still expected to work. These were unprecedented times with no clue as to when the lockdown would end. The UK government did set out a roadmap to ease restrictions but unfortunately due to the ever increasing case numbers we were thrown back into lockdowns and restrictions continued to be imposed.
Fast forward to 2021 and the hope of restrictions no longer being imposed upon us. June 21st was a date for the diary when the government announced that restrictions would be eased and life would return to some kind of normality. June 21st came and with the Delta Variant causing cases to once again rise the Government announced restrictions were to stay until July 19th.
This month restrictions should be lifted within the UK and this means life should return to some kind of normality for us all. Fans are already returning to watch football matches, music festivals will return and life will carry on.
